So far I'm using this while levelling, I'll see how it works in RVR (solo, which kinda changes the equation) if I see people in BGs:
R - Shout F - Lullaby C - AE lullaby V - Sprint T - Stick X - Instant mez Z - Instant AE mez I tried to use modifiers as much as I could, so the mouse is always available for targets. Generally I use Shift for CCs, Ctrl for support, Alt for songs, this helps me remembering and now I think I got the reflexes, it took some time though: Shift A - Mez Shift D - AE mez Shift S - Confuse Shift Q - Resist chant Shift W - Resist chant Shift E - Resist chant Shift Z - Resist chant Shift X - Resist chant Shift C - Resist chant Shift Space - Face Shift G - Follow Shift R - Assist Ctrl Q - Ameliorating melodies Ctrl W - MCL Ctrl E - Rez Ctrl A - Small heal Ctrl D - Big heal Ctrl D - Group heal Ctrl Z - Cure poison Ctrl X - Cure disease Ctrl C - Demez Ctrl Space - Face Alt Q - Instrument 1 (lute or flute) Alt W - Speed song Alt E - Power song Alt R - Health song Alt A - Instrument 2 (usually drums) Alt S - Endurance song Alt D - Blade Alt F - Run lock 1 - After block reactive style 2 - Taunt 3 - Side snare, also on Caps Lock for convenience while moving Delete - Buffs qbank Insert - Back to main qbank 1234 after pressing Insert - Buffs Alt 1 - A charge on my equipment Alt 2 - Block style when I get it Alt 3 - Side style follow-up when I get it Mouse 4 - Pan camera Mouse 5 - Reset camera Not sure yet what to do with Resist chants but I think they'll just end up on a different qbank and work with 123456, or be used with the mouse since I'll never be very fast with them anyway. I have put Face on several shortcuts so that I can face enemies or allies while holding Shift or Ctrl depending on whether I am on offensive or support "stance". I really enjoy it and I think I am starting to react fast with this setup. I am not getting lazy with modifiers as I usually would with more mouse-clicking, and in the end I am more active that way. My three qbars are arranged so that the skills are grouped in 3 x 3 grids in the same order as QWE/ASD/ZXC, it helps remembering which key does what when peeking at the icons. The main limitation is that run lock is pretty much mandatory all the time in RVR since modifiers stop movement on Uthgard. I've yet to see how it works in RVR panic moments, but I like it so far. Doesn't using a modifier (alt, shift) make your character stop? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

It does unless you are sticking or in run lock, which means I have to run lock or follow someone during incs if I want to quickly Shift A/D and Face to land the mez first. This is why I put run run lock on Alt F: it's accessible in my twisting stance, but I have seen people put run lock on W to use it all the time too, maybe that would work as well, but I do not like not having the regular forward movement. I will need some practice for that though, since the movement interruption is a non issue in PVE.
I have not bound any instant spell to modifiers, so that qweasd movements can be used freely together with instant spells. [Mid] Koubiak, Krafilnaavith

I tried qbinding runlock to w key, and i really liked it.
But the problem was once you have faced someone, you need to jump or sit for running again. So i reset w key as move forward |

They shift+key make you stop, does it stop you instantly like /face?

Not instantly. You stop at the same rate as if you had simply released the movement key. |
