2 Hander and Parry

I was under the impression for many years that if you use a 2 handed weapon, your parry is 1% per trained point in parry.

And that your parry was only 0.5% per point with a one hand and shield.

Is this still correct? Loking at this website, it doesn't mention it.
Instead, it seems it halves your parry if your "opponent" has a 2 handed weapon.

I was planning a Thane with 39 parry (With the +11 to make 50)

completly untrue the only thing that will reduce your block and parry rating is if you are against high weaponskill classes like armsmen or something. WS reduced defensive ratings, but you can counter this reduction by overcapping your ratings. (but pretty wasteful)

mother of god, no. you're basicly playing daoc in "****** me up daddy"-mode if your a 2h thane
