Will I gimp myself by going 41 sup 35 dark instead of 49 sup 22 Dark?

I think the choice between the two comes down to a matter of playstyle, and what you want to do with your SM. However 35 Dark 41 Supp might have more appeal at low Realm Rank, lowering the variance of your baseline nuke, Obsidian Strike. Later on, I think sacrificing the benefits of 35 Dark will be worth it to boost your Supp spec spells.
