Skald DD

How hard do skald dds hit at this patch level at endgame?
It is even worth having charisma or are they just for interrupts?

Charisma is definitely worth having. The DD will do decent damage, and I believe Charisma affects our power pool so you will want it. If you plan on soloing the DDs could make all the difference in a fight.

As far as DDs in 8v8 I think they will be more used for interrupts, but you will still want the power pool.

Cheers mate :) I started playing after ToA and the DDs back then were only really good for interrupts

They are a fair chunk of your overall damage and charisma should be maxed out if poss.

DDs are pretty much only for interupts in rvr. You will do very low dmg to buffed resists filled players.

Whilst I agree with this to a point the simple fact is not everyone is going to be running around with 50% body resist 24/7.

You will come across plenty of people where the DD's will be a significant portion of your damage.

The range is pretty short, if you can't see their name above their head you are out of shout range, but yea.. the dmg is pretty big.

For me, in the 35 BG, a double shout chunks a quarter of their life. Maybe a not quite as much on tanky types.

I think all us RvR ready Skalds should form an 8 man Skald group, how great would that be? Red speed, red dmg add, red heal chant, red body resist, red spirit/energy/cold/heat. MA snares main target, rest insta mezz all over, switch to main target, focus DD them.

Sounds goofy as hell, but it might work. Ever been tried? :lol:
