Has anyone tested the damage on the lvl 48 ice pet?

If you were to spec for it you might as well go 50 ice and only have 18 earth for group bt, but it seems like it might not be worthwhile to lose pbt for.

There shouldn't be a difference in dmg of the pet. I don't see the point in investing into it.
Level 25 is what you need in ice.

Never tested the top pet, but the cookie cutter rvr spec is 41 ice 35 earth. Yellow pbt, and all around good pets for each type of situation. Could argue higher earth and be correct in regards.

obiously, no one here has really tested 48/50 Ice Theurg specs.

I would definitely be interested in hearing from people who have done so. In the meantime I would ask a simple question:

How good would 48/50 Ice have to be in order to be better than the other specs? Even if Ice pets would 2 shot people, I just think the other tools you get from speccin earth/wind outweigh any conceivable advantage from that bit of being resisted less/more dmg.

groups mostly want at least some form of PBT.
Solo I think high ice might be better than some specs, but I would still go 45air 25ice or 45 air 26 earth if going alone is your priority.

NEWS FLASH.... I leveled my ICE Theurg to 48 to test this.

So in Cotsworld with the dummy dolls... I spammed 14 lvl 40 ice pets and later 14 lvl 48 ice pets and here is the dmg.

40:
98 spells/51 resists/ 46 hits/ ~201dmg (165-247)

48:
98 spells/44 resists/ 53 hits/ ~214dmg (180-265)

I know for any significance it would take 100 pets of each sort... but I am kinda lazy...
That is between 5% to 8% more dmg... the lvl of the pets are still blue...

In a nutshell, I was not impressed .....

Now, it might be that in RvR it is completely different and enemies are insta kills... but I would not know why... I will test this..if I feel like it...but probably I will respec before testing ....

Respecced to Wind and dmg on pennie cythrae jumped from 430-to 730 (lvl 41 ice dd vs. lvl 45 wind)
