Coughed up the plat to respec 45 air. Got in group with that sweet red acuity buff. Nuked a kobold for 220 -230, I must be doing it wrong lol. At least the air pets pretty neat, try to get some QQ chain stun posts going.

On how much resists did you nuke?

On a side note: most people played Air-Theurgs post ToA, when most temps in mid/hib had dropped spirit resists almost completely (since it was almost impossible to cap everything), you also had resist-pierce and +dmg in your temp too. That's where all the high dmg nukes came from that Theurgs talk/talked about.

If you want to solo as theurg, go air (rest ice), if not don't go split spec in some way.

But be warned, you will be a gimp sorc solo.

Yes, it's laughable. Yet some people still think full air spec is good.

Sounds about right for a none debuffed nuke.

You should see higher numbers vs soloers or smallman (who dont have aug healer/Warden resists) in those scenarious is where Air shines the most.
I personally tried 45air myself on my Theurg and changed back after one evening, I could see the appeal of the spec but felt like i was giving up too much and gained too little to juistify the airspec.

I think Air is a viable leveling spec.
The stun proc is extremely useful when petspamming deep purples and the nukes hit incredibly hard.

But when 40 comes and one can actually afford the points to go pbt+ice, there really are few excuses to stay with Air in this meta.

Air has it`s uses, just not above 32 imo. Well not when you are 50 anyway.

The 45 nuke, while being higher delve than 50 ice nuke, it will be resisted more and is slower casting. No doubt the dps over time is higher, just not high enough to forego the earth/ice pets.

47 air/25 ice could be a good solo spec, but again, why did you not pick sorc then?
