I am trying to decide whether I should go 46 Mind for pom or 44 mind.

On 1.65 mana is a HUGE problem.
Anyway. Both specs are viable, while I would personally go for 46.

It is worth it and I would say standard RvR spec. You also get better mezz dampening with 45 which is huge.

Do prefer the 46mind/28body spec over the 45mind/29body spec in 8man groups? Basically red pom vs blue dex/qui debuff (and a bit damage)?

The red pom is not insignificant compared to yellow pom. It helps the clerics a bit more since they are cast less offensive spells and are more often out of combat.

45mind/29body
The advantage of blue dex/qui is the higher delve value and lower resist rate. The disadvantage is the higher power cost. And even 1 point extra in body gives a slight increase in dps and nuke power effeciency.

I'm not sure which spec I think is better but my guess is 45mind is better for short and bursty fights and 46mind is better for longer drawn out fights and pve.
