spec AF on necro pet?

hi all, Ive been rummaging through old posts and it seems during patch 1.72 they changed something that spec af doesnt affect pets. Being that this is 1.65 you would think spec af benefits a necro pet but can anyone verify this? Thanks.

Acuity and spec af buffs do not affect pets - all pets, not just necro.
It's wasted conc.

Base + Spec versions
  • Str - increase melee absorb + melee damage
  • Cons - increase melee absorb
  • Dex - increase magic absorb + improves cast speed

Other Buffs
  • Quick - improve swing speed
  • AF - increase melee absorb (low effect)
  • Haste - improve swing speed

useless buffs
  • HP reg (cleric) - low increase to HP regen (better use necro HoT!)
  • Acuity - no effect
  • Spec AF - no effect

Cleric regen and Necro HoT are two different effects and stack. Not commenting on the effectiveness of the ****** Cleric buff, though

give a WC or Sage Acuity and let it nuke stuff - then tell us again it dosent affect anything.

maybe i should not effect the pet, but it clearly does.

Not sure it's the same. Necro pets are different from normal mobs as far as casting, as they're a weird mix of pet and necro for spells. I'd like to see testing done on this.
