Hello,

with the start in January I will maybe create a necro. A friend of my will make a Cleric.
He will spec full Enhancements.
How should I spec my necro if he will play lets say 3/5 or 4/5 of the time with me.
Shell I go full Deathsight for manaleech or should I play Death Servant as I have a cleric with me?
I think as he will not play that much as me I should go Deathsight.
Or is it better play all the time Death Servant and only with him?

What would you say / how will you level up your necro?

Sorry for my bad english.

Servant will be really poor when you solo so I'd go sight.

That's the duo we had at the beginning of the beta. Death servant is not effective to level with a cleric at all. The only use for it was farming green/blues at 50 faster. Sight is the way to go. My friend also tried different specs on his cleric and smite/enh was the best one. Your pet doesn't need any heal if you are not pulling reds and buff-bot cleric is not that useful. You can solo much faster, the buffs don't cover that up. On the other hand smite spec hits hard. The only downside is the power usage and 1-2 transfer per pull was enough for us. That's my advice till 40.

Thank you for the feedback.
How your friend skilled the cleric X/X smite/enh?
So you think I dont need full enh ?

Full enh cleric will slow you down. I would try to get a decent (if not the best) dex/qui and acuity for my level, and put rest of the points to smite.

lvl 5 - 3 enh / 4 sm
lvl 10 - 7 enh / 7 sm (first d/q)
lvl 15- 11 enh / 10 sm (first acu)
lvl 20 - 14 enh / 14 sm

etc, etc...

you dont need a cleric to lvl necro fastest at all. If you are doing it right, they are the same as any other class just there taking xp and drops.

id /anon,  hes a cleric he will find a group that can use him. If you want to plvl someone get to 50 first then do it, so you make more money doing it ^^

The Cleric will only be of use if its being actively played while levelling. Buffs + Cleric stun so you don't have to go melee barring bad resists.

Sight to 40, Servant beyond that IF you play together religiously from that point. Theres nothing faster on Alb.

Sight Necro + Ice Theurg will be faster levelling to 40 if not always together but still solo'ing. In this duo the Theurg takes the lead with Necro providing support. Both have perfect solo specs when not together. Spices it up abit rather than just single targeting.

I'd imagine most the Necro + cleric duo's will get the most monitoring from the Dev's for suspected dual logging during the first few weeks.
