Debuff in PvE

My questios is if its worth spec spirit to get high level debuffs in pve, for example: 47 spirit to get the 50% spirit debuff to increase dmg of necro manatap and/or air theur nuke. Someone tried this? how much increase the dmg of nukers?

When I help level my friend who is a spirit cab, currently level 48, we tested spirit debuff(yellow debuff) and I saw no difference in damage. Not sure if it's a bug with pet as I haven't tested further.
