short answer: no.
longer answer: pve outright resist rate is determined by caster level and target level. so if you're level 50 and casting a level 30 spell on a level 50 mob, you will get the same outright resist rate as if you were casting a level 50 spell (or a level 1 spell) on a level 50 mob. spell level doesn't matter for outright resist rate in pve. however, rvr outright resist rate is determined by spell level and target level, so if you're level 50 and casting a level 30 spell on a level 50 player, you will have a higher outright resist rate than if you were casting a level 50 spell on a level 50 player. the only thing that can raise your spell level is mastery of focus, and spell level can never be raised above 50. |

Aka a Cabalist only need +11 to Body, as in RVR we do not use any dots anyway. root, disease and debuff have no variance, it stick or not |

+11 spirit will also give more mana gained from recycling your pet - as far as I know up to spirit spec 50...
Genuine Spirit Cabalist since 2002

is this confirmed? more mana per cycle? how much (e.g. is it worth it)? if i go through the spirit animation line, there only the pet heal and buffs which are affected, but that never seems worth +11 in spirit, even for a pve cabalist. or is there any other effect (like pet hp)? |

Based on this awesome Cabalist guide (not sure how valid it is, but the writer seems to be competent): http://daocinfo.awardspace.com/guides/class/mages/cabby/cabby%20guide.htm
2.7 What is Pet Recycling, how does it work? ...A Cabalist with no Spirit spec will recycle roughly 140 - 170 power per Amber Simulacrum at level 50, whereas a fully Spirit spec Cabalist will recycle Ambers for around 210 power.... |
