launcher tells I'm missing that dll. Any help on this?

I am also getting this error.
"The program can't start because api-ms-win-core-file-I2-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." It then attempts to load DAoC but says "Failed to inject 1.65" Last edited by jlxharville on May 07, 2016 16:26, edited 1 time in total.

same here. I downloaded it (64bit version) and put it in camelot folder and in system32 folder but it done nothing. I had genesis daoc version patched with uthgard launcher. maybe i have to desinstall and reinstall all game...

CONFIRMED FIXED. Go to google type Microsoft C++ 2015
Download the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 x86 Once downloaded and it says successful, restart patcher., GL |

The installation of the microsoft visual C++ doesn't finish for me it just stays a full green bar

I got it to work finally by installing the x64 version of the 2015 C++ redistribution. I think it would be best to remove the 'x86' keyword from the FAQ as it was very misleading as it depends on the users OS.
The X86 package would not install and instead just hung as the previous screenshot shows. Th e x64 package did install just fine and allowed the launcher to work just fine. -R33f3r |
