Based on player feedback, we've implemented some additional rewards on our event merchant. You will now find Epic armor reskins, Armor reskins, and Weapon reskins available in exchange for Uthalis. One significant change is that from now on Epic armor reskins will require you obtain a piece of epic armor in addition to the scroll in order to obtain this reskin. In addition, effect scrolls have been reduced in price and now require a weapon of the same type with the glow you want to have put on your weapon. This applies to newly offered epic armor reskins and effect scrolls and is NOT retroactive.

Later there will be a NPC who will kindly perform the reskin of your item for a small fee with the help of the scroll and the template you provide. We're excited that we can announce these changes in advance of an upcoming event which will have Uthalis as a reward. Details about it will follow within the next few weeks.

Good News! I don´t even have 1 Uthalis but i think this is great. I tried to put some EpicArmor in this or that template but most suck at utility. I haven´t checked the amount of Uthalis u need to get one, but nvm. Now i see very much better reasons (except fun at all) to join Events.

Nice finally some news thats make me more happy, and i hope also for new events and more uthalis to get everyone chances for a reskins .

its the same thing as some years ago...where u got reskins for bountypoints..after all run with laser pew pew lightning toa QQ armors..they removed all reskins...same will happen here...at least another useless thing

I doubt there will be a drastic change where we get tons of events so I don't see many people getting enough Uthalis for this stuff.

I think this is such a great idea! Do you think one day you would be able to purchase uthalis off the bp merchant? I think this might help a bunch like I said before in previous post! Once again thanks very much to this, I think it's a huge step into bringing something good the the server!

What exactly are "reskins" and "uthalis"?

Uthalis is a custom reward available from GM-hosted events. There is a merchant in the border keeps that sells special items, typically not available anywhere else. A 'reskin' is an option to receive a new look for an item that is typically unavailable through normal in game hunting or crafting.
